If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit for the value of the returned item. A gift certificate will be sent to you once the returned item is received.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or the order was shipped to the original purchaser, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used by the gift giver.
